Know about quality building materials

Quality of  Brick(1st Class Brick):-
Usually in a construction we use traditional bricks(size -9.75"X4.75"X2.75").
A quality brricks should have been cherry colour, sharp edges, if you try to nail mark on it, no scratch should marked.If two quality bricks hitting one another a metalic sound should given. After 24 hours absorb in water it absorb 20% water of its own weight. Generally a quality brick weight around 3.2kg to3.5kg.
One another test  should have been done, One brick have to laying earth on edge(*like that below picture) and other have to fell on it from one meter height, after falling no bricks were broken.
